Who I Am
Blake Held has been around golf his entire life. He started playing at a young age and was hooked instantly, spending every chance he got on the course before eventually playing golf in college. Along the way, he gained experience across the golf industry—from maintaining the grounds and cutting grass on the course crew, to working in the kitchen and learning the hospitality side, to helping with tournaments and golf operations in the pro shop. Blake is a second-generation club builder, following in the footsteps of his grandfather, Eric, one of the best of his time. Blake still hears stories of his grandfather building a club so impressive that someone would buy it after playing just one hole with it. Golf has taught Blake so much, and he loves helping others by keeping their equipment in top shape. Blake also holds a master club builder certificate through the Mitchell golf certificate program.
